The basket-type centrifugal separator comes in two types: perforated (with holes in the rotating basket) and non-perforated. It operates by rotating the basket and using the centrifugal force generated during rotation to perform centrifugal separation or centrifugal filtration. There are separation methods such as sedimentation and filtration, and it can also be used for liquid removal processes like dehydration and deoiling.

Separation mechanism

Sedimentation separation type

Solid particles in the liquid are separated by centrifugal force, resulting in a clear liquid, which is discharged from the top of the rotating cylinder.
The fine particles remain in the rotating cylinder and can be collected.

Filtration separation type

A filter media is used to separate the mixture.
The liquid passes through the filter media and is discharged, while solids remain on the filter media.

BASKET TYPE CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR MODEL

Top discharge type

The top discharge type discharges solids from the top of the centrifuge.
Since all the solids can be recovered, the recovery rate is high.
It has a simple structure, making it easy to clean.

KBS Series
(Centrifugal sedimentation type)

In this top discharge type, when the basket is rotated at high speed and the raw liquid is fed into the basket, the liquid overflows from the top of the basket or is taken out by the skimming pipe of the skimming device.
Solids adhere to the inside of the basket.

KMN Series
(Centrifugal filtration type)

In this model, a dewatering bag is placed inside a basket with numerous small holes, and when the basket is rotated at high speed to feed the raw liquid, centrifugal force causes the liquid to pass through a filter cloth, allowing it to pass through the filter cloth and out of the basket to be filtered.

(Sedimentation / Filtration type)

Bottom discharge type

The bottom discharge type discharges solids from the bottom of the centrifuge.
Since solids can be discharged using a scraping device, the process can be automated.
This type is suitable for mass production and labor saving in the production process.

KDB Series
(Centrifugal sedimentation type)

This model is a bottom discharge type that uses a non-porous basket to separate solids by using strong centrifugal force. The raw liquid is fed into the centrifugal separator and separated into liquid and solid in the basket, and the separated liquid is removed from the top of the basket by an overflow or skimming device.

BDC Series
(Centrifugal filtration type)

This model allows solids, crystals, etc. to be easily dropped from the bottom of the basket after processing.
This type is very convenient when the volume of solids to be treated is large or when solids are removed frequently.

KFB/KFC Series
(Sedimentation / Filtration type)

KFB/KFC Series(Centrifugal sedimentation type / Centrifugal filtration type)

The bottom discharge type centrifugal separator is equipped with an automatic scraping device, automatic braking device, hydraulic or pneumatic unit, control panel, safety devices for automation, etc. All you have to do is press the start button to operate the centrifugal separator, and it will automatically repeat the cycle.

KO Series (Oil-water separator)

This model can separate liquids with large amounts of oil and water mixed in.
Separated oil and water are discharged from the top and bottom of the basket.

KT Series (De-oil dehydrator)

In this model, products are placed in a metal inner basket of the lifting type and attached to the basket.
After spinning, the inner basket is lifted up and the product is removed from the bottom.
