As its name suggests, the KS-type super-high-speed centrifugal separator is a centrifugal separator that generates high-speed rotation and produces strong centrifugal force, which is used to continuously separate and clarify difficult-to-separate suspensions in a short period of time.
Centrifugal force generated in a drum by high-speed rotation separates low-specific-gravity liquids, which move toward the center, from high-specific-gravity liquids or solids, which move away from the center. The machine can be continuously charged with an unseparated liquid. The KS type is a centrifugal separator that uses centrifugal sedimentation to achieve full separation and clarification of difficult-to-separate suspensions within a short period of time. Structure of KS-type super-high-speed centrifugal separator
An unseparated liquid is fed through the lower part. While it rises within the rotor, particles settle on the inner surface of the rotor. Clear liquid is discharged through the upper part. The operator needs to collect solids as a batch. However, the operation is very simple, requiring no special skills. A sheet (Teflon as a standard feature) is fitted on the inner surface of the rotor, making solids collection easy.
